International player in the power generation industry is immediately seeking Multi-skilled Commissioning Engineers to join their team in the West Midlands.

Excellent Earning £45,000 - £52,000 + Paid Overtime. Flexible working. West Midlands. Ref: 22082
You will deliver commissioning activities effectively and cost-efficiently in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and functional safety requirements for bespoke machinery. The ability to write FDS from scratch is essential as is a hunger to deliver high tech machinery to client specifications.
Commissioning Engineer - The Role:
1. Creation of project-commissioning strategy, reviews and ensures its implementation.
2. Provide support to tendering, assisting in the creation of proposal estimation of hours, bought out equipment, test equipment, bespoke tools etc.
3. Supporting Project Managers in issuing claims for scope of work changes, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.
4. Ensure adherence to safety standards in the area of responsibility and mitigation of potential risks.
5. Interpretation of Functional and Safety Functional Requirements.
6. Compile Test, Installation and Commissioning Quality Plan.
7. Preparation of test reports.
8. Implementation of UK and European H&S legislation and appropriate standards.
9. Adherence to all relevant company policies and procedures.
10. Liaison with Engineering Design, Procurement and Manufacturing personnel to ensure process optimisation.
Commissioning Engineer - The Person:
1. HNC Qualified or equivalent.
2. NVQ Level 3.
3. Ideally conversant with British and European Technical Legislative standards.
4. Essential conscientious approach with attention to detail within a challenging role.
Role commutable from Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Telford, Dudley & Walsall.
