As a Senior Business Development Executive, your primary objective will be to drive sales growth and expand our client base within a designated territory.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new businesses in the apprenticeship market, influencing a broad spectrum of industries
Utilise the sales tech stack, including Seven20, Revenue Grid and Aircall to follow up, nurture and close open opportunities
Utilise social selling tactics on platforms such as LinkedIn to build a personal brand and establish yourself as a thought leader in the industry
Use qualifying information from the Sales Development team to produce highly tailored, relevant and personalised pitch decks and proposals to present to prospects
Use consultative sales methodology throughout your sales approach to effectively build robust relationships and generate high-quality opportunities
Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records using CRM software to ensure efficient tracking and reporting of sales progress.
Have in-depth, expert knowledge of the companies apprenticeship programmes and the value they can provide businesses
Proactively contribute to your own sales pipeline by seeking new business opportunities in the market, using LinkedIn, CRM, sales enablement tools, and sales intelligence to improve processes
Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Essential Skills:
The ability to adapt and develop apprenticeship solutions to client’s needs with clear and decisive communication.
Be able to clearly and easily articulate the company value proposition; their strengths and the quality of their delivery.
Able to set goals, plan and manage projects as well as anticipate potential roadblocks or risks, to achieve targets and maintain a full pipeline.
Experience in handling complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders in diverse industries.
Results-oriented, tenacious and resilient in your approach to revenue generation.
Organised, with the ability to prioritise, and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all organisational levels.
A strong commercial mindset with a customer-centric approach to sales.
Key Objectives:
Achieve monthly sales targets with demonstrable key performance indicators (KPIs).
Represent the company and the value of apprenticeships using comprehensive knowledge as well as consumer research to explain how their programmes help businesses meet their growth, professional development and recruitment objectives.
Capable of approving qualified apprenticeship vacancies without regular support or quality checks, maintaining low withdrawal rates and high learner retention rates.
Maintains a high level of quality by establishing and enforcing company standards, following processes and meeting company expectations.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by participating in internal training, reviewing professional publications and other content, establishing personal networks, and benchmarking best practices.
