In this exciting role, you will work closely with the teams to enhance skills, ensure safety, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.As the Engineering Trainer / Multi-Skilled Engineering Training Instructor you will partner with stakeholders across the business in designing and delivering targeted training programs that drive technical expertise, ensure legal compliance, standardise assessments, foster workforce development, promote safe working practices, and meet industry regulatory standards.APPLY TODAYIf this job looks like your ideal position, then please send in your CV as soon as possible for our Recruitment Team to review.DUTIESYour duties as an Engineering Trainer / Multi-Skilled Engineering Training Instructor will include:Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver training initiatives, aligned with business strategies and departmental charters, underpinned by SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People)Use a range of technical / compliance skills and knowledge, in combination with a selection of learning and facilitation techniques to direct learning, including on-the-job, off-the-job and remote deliveryDesign learning sessions to meet the specified aims and objectives of the training and the differentiated needs of learnersDesign, develop and maintain relevant supporting resources, that enhance the learning and engage the learnersDeliver training using a range of learning methodologies ensuring learners are managed, motivated, coached and supported to achieve the intended learning outcomesFoster and maintain a safe, inclusive and effective environment to enable learner engagement and participation, and overcome potential barriers to learningConduct learner assessments, using the specified assessment strategy, to evaluate and record outcomes. Analyse assessment results and, where relevant, support development plans to ensure that individuals achieve the intended learning outcomesProvide Technical and Compliance training assurance across multiple sites and varying shift patternsSupport with the administration of the apprentice programmeCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSPrevious Electrical and/or Mechanical engineering experienceNVQ Level 3 or equivalent, in either Marine Engineering / Electronics / Mechanical engineeringDesirable plant machinery backgroundA passion for training and helping others learnStrong communication and presentation skillsExcellent planning, organising and prioritising skillsPositive attitude towards change and a role model for the businessFlexibility to work across all sites and support various shift patternsCustomer focused and the ability to work with stakeholders business wideAbility to deal sensitively and appropriately, with confidential informationDesire to work towards teaching qualifications and accreditationMust have a full driving licence and own vehicleHOW TO APPLYTo be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
