Supporting the Social Value Manager to establish and manage internal and external stakeholder engagement, partnerships, and social value programs, the successful candidate will be responsible for helping to drive the social value agenda whilst building long term, productive client relationships.
We are Interested in speaking with experienced Social Value leads to join a leading regional contractor based in South Wales. Reporting into the Social Value Manager and overseeing a wide range of projects including frameworks in the education, health care and leisure sector, including refurbishment and new build projects.
The role of Social Value Coordinator / Lead will involve the organising and hosting of events to raise awareness of the company’s and client's positive impact on the society surrounding their projects. Also creating data based on the monitoring of data provided by internal and external teams.
As Social Value Coordinator / Lead you will oversee several projects throughout South Wales, working closely with project teams, stakeholders and local communities. Creating Social Value plans and supporting the wider bid team.
Key attributes for the Social Value Coordinator / Lead include strong communication skills, both written and verbal, strong organisational skills, an eye for detail and a passion for social value causes.
Role Overview
As part of the ESG function, you will be working closely alongside and shadowing a more experienced Social Value Manager, supporting with social value delivery, data collection, reporting, and social value evaluation.
Key Deliverables
• Delivery of social value objectives, including work experience placements and education/ community activities
• Collaborate with key external partners to ensure we meet all our social value objectives
• Support the development of a delivery plan for social value commitments on each project
• Identify suitable partners to be able to deliver the above objectives
• Report to SV manager on the delivery of outputs you are responsible for, raising to manager any risks or issues in delivery
• Contribute to team meetings, offering solutions and sharing best practice
• Collaborate with other functions within Andrew Scott to deliver social value activities
