We are seeking a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner within the Coventry Talking Therapies team to manage and coordinate a supportive and cohesive PWP Team.
This exciting opportunity is for a permanent role within Coventry Talking Therapies, run in partnership with Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust and Coventry and Warwickshire MIND.
The Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull NHS Talking Therapies service focuses on client experience and outcomes, as well as staff wellbeing. The service offers a robust support structure with various learning and development opportunities, including an in-house CPD programme, where full-time staff are allocated 5 study days per year to enhance their skills and knowledge.
This is a hybrid role, involving both remote working and office-based duties.
Main Duties of the Job
Your responsibilities will include spending one day each week at our Telephone and Referral Centre, where all referrals are received and processed. You will screen some of these referrals for suitability, assess risks regularly, and ensure that a management plan is developed whenever risks are identified.

Job Responsibilities
You will have experience working with common mental health problems, be able to provide initial assessments of client needs, including risk assessment, and deliver a range of evidence-based, high volume, low-intensity psychological interventions based on a self-management model. The interventions will include both individual and group work, and candidates must be confident and competent in delivering interventions using various communication mediums such as telephone work, e-consultation, and face-to-face activities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You must also be willing to travel among various venues within the service.
