Procurement & Supply Chain Manager A highly successful and expanding SME business providing innovative products, seeking a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to play a strategic role in shaping a sustainable future. Day to Day of the Role: Develop and implement purchasing and supply chain strategies to optimise efficiency and minimise costs. Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, ensuring timely delivery of quality products and services at competitive prices. Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and monitor inventory levels with effective management strategies. Forecast demand for products and services, control transport costs, and stay updated with import and export regulations. Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of value, delivery schedules, and quality. Analyse supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and mitigate supply chain risks. Automate processes for increased efficiency and collaborate with marketing and sales teams on new product development. Leading a team to achieve business objectives alongside conducting annual reviews and handling HR-related issues Required Skills & Experience: End-to-end supply chain experience Strategic mindset with strong analytical ability. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Experience with international suppliers and commercial awareness. Problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and leadership qualities. FMCG or food production experience would be preferable.
