Position: Early Years SEN Teacher

Salary: £140 - £180 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent
Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? A warm and inclusive SEN early years setting in Slough is looking for a dedicated Early Years SEN Teacher to join their team and provide a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment for their youngest learners.
The Role
As an Early Years SEN Teacher, you will:
1. Plan and deliver creative, sensory-based lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of children with a range of SEN, including autism, developmental delays, and communication difficulties.
2. Develop and implement personalised learning and care plans in collaboration with teaching assistants, therapists, and families.
3. Foster a nurturing and structured classroom environment that promotes emotional security and positive routines.
4. Use a range of strategies to support communication, social interaction, and developmental milestones.
5. Build strong, trusting relationships with children, providing consistency, encouragement, and praise.
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should:
1. Hold QTS, EYTS, or EYPS and have experience in Early Years education.
2. Have experience or a strong interest in working in a SEN or inclusive setting.
3. Be calm, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young children with complex needs.
4. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
5. Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of every child.
