Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer
Introduction
Our client, a reputable contractor in the Ground Investigation & Environmental industry, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent position within the company, offering excellent career growth opportunities.
Key Skills
1. Delivering and running Ground Investigation and Geo-Environmental site investigation works.
2. Strong background of report writing.
Key Responsibilities
3. Manage and deliver ground investigations
4. Provide technical expertise in contaminated land assessments
5. Mentor and guide junior team members
6. Produce high-quality reports and deliverables
7. Oversee and coordinate on-site work, with around 25% of the role involving site visits the rest in the office
8. Collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
Job Requirements
9. Significant experience in geotechnical investigations and contaminated land assessments
10. Strong knowledge and competence in either ground investigation (GI) or contaminated land management
11. Excellent report writing and communication skills
12. Proven ability to manage projects and deliver high-quality results
13. A track record in mentoring and supervising junior team members
14. Ability to balance fieldwork (site visits) and office-based duties
