If you have experience in challenging behaviours with children, we want to hear from you By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for a young boy in Birmingham. Our service user enjoys playing on his iPad and also loves watching sports and game shows on TV, his favourite game show to watch is ‘The Chase’. Your role? To create a reassuring atmosphere where he feels safe and supported. Actively engage with him to ensure his safety and well-being, keeping him safe from harm. Provide support with all aspects of daily living, including meeting his personal care needs, carrying out regular observations, and manage his clinical interventions throughout the night. Pay Rates: £13.50 - £14.50 per hour Approx. £70.00 - £72.50 per 5-hour day shift Approx. £148.50 - £159.50 per 11-hour night shift Shifts Available: Part Time Days: 2:30pm – 7:30pm Every Sunday Nights: 8pm – 7am Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays Essential Requirements 3 months previous care experience Personal care Moving and handling Medication administration Clear Communication Skills Experience in handling challenging behaviours with children This isn't just a job – it's a chance to have a significant impact on a young person's life.
