Job Title: IETP Technical Publications Engineer

Salary: Circa £38,000
What you'll be doing:
1. Quality checking delivery packages of documents supplied from internal departments and the supply chain
2. Sourcing documents from document management systems
3. Quality checking documents to ensure functionality of the Interactive Electronic Technical Publication (IETP) is maintained
4. Managing data in a Common Source Database (CSDB)
5. Utilising trilogy software to build IETPs by following local instructions and publishing it for the end users to access
6. Assisting the IETP Production Lead to make sure all configuration control of documentation and records is accurately maintained
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
7. HNC/ HND or equivalent experience within relevant engineering discipline
8. Practical knowledge of engineering
9. Experience of handling documents and proficient in the discipline of configuration control
Desirable:
10. Previous experience in a technical documentation role
11. Knowledge and understanding of an IETP, ASD S1000D and of a Common Source Database (data vault)

The IETP Production team: You'll join a team focused on Technical Publications, specializing in Astute and Vanguard class IETP (Interactive Electronic Technical Publications).
