Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Aspire People is currently seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEN school in Kettering. This role will be full-time, Monday to Friday, and offers a rewarding opportunity to work with children who have multiple complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting children with a variety of complex SEN needs, ensuring their safety and well-being.
2. Providing personal care as required by students.
3. Assisting in the delivery of tailored learning plans, ensuring students are engaged and progressing.
4. Helping with general classroom support, including assisting with activities and providing one-on-one support.
5. Working closely with teachers and other professionals to support the individual needs of each child.
6. Promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students.
Essential Requirements:
1. Proven experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with multiple complex needs.
2. A patient, empathetic, and caring approach to working with children.
3. The ability to provide personal care where needed.
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
5. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
6. A desire to make a positive impact in the lives of SEN students.
