The vital post of Divisional Director of Operations for Medicine & Long-Term Conditions is now available. As the lead Division for the provision of Urgent & Emergency Care, you will be joining a Division with a strong ambition to improve care and outcomes for their patients.
Main duties of the job
The post of Divisional Director of Operations is a crucial leadership role within the Trust. The Divisional Directors of Operations work alongside their clinical Divisional Directors to lead their respective Divisions. They must actively lead by example, in line with the Trust’s values of Respect, Compassion, Professionalism and Teamwork.

Qualifications
* Degree and/or relevant management qualification
* Evidence of continuing professional and personal development
Experience
* Experience of setting and leading a compassionate, inclusive and open culture.
* Extensive experience of leading successful change in patient centred care delivery
* Experience of delivering high levels of productivity and efficiency.
* Significant senior management experience in an NHS trust, operating at or close to Divisional leadership level
Skills, Knowledge and Ability
* Knowledge of key current issues in NHS systems reform
* Clear understanding of systems management, especially the ICS agenda, and place-based integration agenda.
* Highly developed influencing, persuading and communication skills
* Ability to manage a highly complex portfolio and deliver a wide range of objectives within the time available
* Ability to think strategically without losing touch with day to day service delivery
* Ability to engage others in the process of service change
