Environmental Manager
Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset

Salary: £80,000 Annual Salary plus Accommodation and Benefits
Description & Background:
An opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Manager for the Hinkley Point C project. This role is critical to ensuring environmental compliance and promoting sustainable practices across a major nuclear energy infrastructure development. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining environmental standards and supporting the project's commitment to environmental excellence.
Responsibilities:
1. Promote a positive Environmental Culture throughout projects, legal entities, and the supply chain.
2. Contribute to environmental commitments by highlighting and promoting best practices.
3. Implement and utilise environmental policies and procedures across all project work scopes.
4. Liaise with stakeholders to ensure mandatory compliance requirements and performance.
5. Conduct regular site performance inspections and audits.
6. Prepare and deliver environmental performance reports and KPIs.
7. Manage environmental incident response, reporting, and investigation.
Experience Required:
1. Environmental HND/Degree approved by IOSH in a relevant environmental subject.
2. IOSH Qualification.
3. Proven experience in environmental management within large-scale infrastructure projects.
4. Strong understanding of environmental compliance and regulatory requirements.
5. Proficient in environmental management systems and reporting tools.
Salary, Hours and Location:
1. £80,000 Annual Salary.
2. Accommodation provided.
3. 37 hours per week, Permanent, Full-time.
4. Site-based at Hinkley Point C, Somerset.
