Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join our client's team in Poole. This role involves programming, setting, and operating Fanuc and Mazak-controlled CNC lathes, including Mill/Turn machines, to produce components with precision and efficiency. The position covers batch sizes ranging from 1-off prototypes to 500-off production runs, offering an exciting variety of work. Key Responsibilities ⦁ Programming, setting, and operating Fanuc and Mazak-controlled CNC lathes, including Mill/Turn machines. ⦁ Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure the highest levels of accuracy. ⦁ Producing components in a variety of batch sizes, from 1-off prototypes to small production runs (up to 500 units). ⦁ Optimizing machining processes to maintain tight tolerances and maximize efficiency. ⦁ Performing basic maintenance and ensuring the reliable operation of machinery. ⦁ Collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines and customer expectations. Qualifications and Experience ⦁ Proven experience as a CNC Turner Programmer, with a focus on Fanuc and Mazak controls. ⦁ Familiarity with Mill/Turn machines and multi-axis machining operations. ⦁ Strong understanding of engineering drawings, materials, and machining techniques. ⦁ Ability to program machines efficiently and optimize manufacturing processes. ⦁ Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality. ⦁ Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively within a flexible schedule.
