Key Responsibilities Project management and contract administration of high-value commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects, ranging in value from £50K to £20M Delivery of core building surveying services, including acquisition surveys, schedules of condition, and project monitoring Preparation and negotiation of schedules of dilapidations on behalf of both landlords and tenants Engaging with a varied portfolio of clients, including corporate occupiers, SMEs, investors, and landlords Contributing to business growth initiatives, including new business development, client pitches, industry networking, and professional representation Candidate Profile We are seeking a confident and capable professional who demonstrates: Strong commercial acumen and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service A collaborative leadership style with experience mentoring and developing junior colleagues The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Effective presentation and communication skills, with experience in business development or pitching Essential Requirements MRICS qualification with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience Previous experience within a commercial building consultancy environment Proven capability in contract administration, cost control, and understanding of the Law of Dilapidations Working knowledge of the JCT suite of contracts Benefits & Incentives Competitive salary reflective of experience and expertise Discretionary annual bonus Flexible working model: one day remote per week, early Friday finish, and core working hours (10am–3pm) 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with office closure over the Christmas period (not deducted from leave entitlement) 5% employer pension contribution via Royal London scheme Newly refurbished, state-of-the-art office space Daily in-office breakfast Access to a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme (wellbeing, counselling, coaching) A values-led organisation with meaningful sustainability goals and community engagement initiatives
