Description and Requirements We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HPC Software Architect to lead the design and development of our next-generation HPC software architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a deep understanding of HPC systems and applications. Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of HPC software architecture tailored to the needs of our platforms. - Join the Lenovo WW HPC Customer Engagement Team as a subject matter expert and lead consultant on HPC & AI software applications, HPC middleware (Schedulers, container management, parallel and distributed programming models) as well as systems management related solutions - Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for HPC software development. - Collaborate with solution vertical experts and HPC architects to design and optimize the system's computational components, including processors, accelerators, interconnects, and memory subsystems - Deliver comprehensive software architecture solutions that describe HPC technical software architectures for sellers, customers and partners in various levels of audience appropriate detail - Keep up with the latest trends within the HPC & AI community as they relate to software optimizations - Guide the sales community in delivering timely and advantageous go to market strategies based on HPC & AI software solutions. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred or equivalent experience. - Extensive experience with HPC architecture and distributed applications design/implementation/consulting. - Proficiency in HPC Schedulers, Container management and Messaging Passing InterfacesExperience with Nvidia AI Enterprise - Nice to have experience with Nvidia AI Enterprise - Experience with OpenStack, HPC cloud or managed services, and containerization technologies is highly desirable. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
