Finance Assistant required for an excellent business based in Warwick. This role is permanent and the company offers hybrid working (3 days a week in the office).\n\n£28,000 - £30,000 per annum\nHybrid Working\n\nKey responsibilities include maintaining the deposit client account data, daily reconciliation of client account to finance software, administering repayment of tenant deposits. The role also involves ensuring all queries are resolved in a timely manner.\n\nMain Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nEnsure deposits lodged are accurately recorded and reconciled daily to the client bank account.\nPreparing and processing of daily imports to SAGE.\nRaise all queries with the franchise branches arising from the daily reconciliation.\nTrack any ongoing queries and escalate where necessary.\nManage and respond to deposit queries within agreed service level agreements.\nPrepare the monthly client account reconciliation and monthly reports.\nEnsure Daily Repayments run is prepared and processed without errors.\nPrepare and implement amendments to Manual Repayments if required.\nPrepare and implement amendments to International Repayments if required.\nEnsure that prompt investigation carried out and relevant steps taken to resolve the Returned Payments issues within the deposit daily reconciliation.\nContacting the payees for any additional information to expedite successful repayments.\nAssisting with the reduction of the Unable to Repay Report and Unallocated Balance.\nReviewing the reports on a regular basis and taking steps to reduce the numbers by contacting the customers personally or utilising the Operations resources whenever available.\nEnsure swift response to all the Inbox queries.\nWork through the backlog of queries alongside keeping up to date with the current ones.\nLiaising with agents and external customers to resolve the Inbox queries.\nAssigning specific queries to the relevant team members and following up on the progress to completion.\n\nBenefits:\nAnnual leave 23 days increasing to 25 days after 2 years and 28 days after 5 years’ service plus bank holidays \nBirthday leave\nPension – Salary Exchange \nCash plan health scheme \nGroup life cover – 4 x gross salary\n\nRequirements:\nBank reconciliations experience is ESSENTIAL\nAble to work in a team environment \nExcellent communication skills\nProficiency on Excel & Sage would be advantageous\n\nIf this role is of interest, please apply for more information
