Capital Recruitment is hiring Customer Service Advisors on behalf of a leading high street furniture retailer. About the Role As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll be supporting both customers and internal staff with day-to-day queries and operational support. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include: Organising and rebooking deliveries with customers and the logistics team. Cancelling deliveries and updating systems accordingly. Handling inbound and outbound calls from customers, stores, and drivers. Dealing with customer complaints, product queries, and delivery issues promptly and professionally. Assisting delivery drivers by providing step-by-step instructions on how to dismantle or manoeuvre furniture into homes, using the information available on the internal system. Updating and maintaining accurate records using internal systems and spreadsheets. Ideal candidates will: Be IT literate and comfortable using systems and Excel-based spreadsheets. Excellent spoken and written English, with clear communication skills. Be confident resolving issues, thinking on their feet, and supporting both customers and drivers. Be flexible to work weekends on a rota basis. Have access to their own transport (public transport is not available for this location). What You’ll Get Temp-to-perm opportunity after 12 weeks.
