A lovely Nursery in Maida Vale is looking for a qualified Early Years Teacher to join their team.
The nursery is looking for someone who is warm, caring, kind, and passionate about childcare.
They have vacancies working with the 12-16 months & 16 to 25 months with a maximum of 15 children in each room.
This is a full-time permanent position and you will be required to work:
1. Monday to Friday (40 hours maximum)
2. Shift work between the hours of 8am-6pm Monday to Thursday
3. Every Friday you will finish at 2pm
The team works on a 40-hour weekly shift basis, ensuring a balanced and structured schedule where the teachers can finish at 1pm, 4pm, and 6pm. They also ensure they don't put more than 2 x 6pm shifts a week.
The nursery operates with a unique Friday schedule, closing at 1 PM, with teachers finishing their workday by 2 PM.
The Manager is looking for highly motivated, experienced, and passionate Level 3 qualified practitioners who have a love for childcare.

1. Level 3 Qualified in Childcare preferred
2. Up to date DBS (If not, must be willing to complete one)
3. Understanding of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding & EYFS
4. Excellent communication skills both written & spoken
5. Experience of working with early years especially babies
You will be required to carry out the following duties:
1. Working in a team and alongside room leader
2. Follow nursery's policies and procedures
3. Sharing innovative new ideas
4. Ensuring the children's needs are met as well as keeping them safe at all times
5. Carry out observations and planning on key children
6. Communicate with children, staff, and parents on a daily basis
7. Ensuring children's needs are met

Salary: £25,000-£28,000 (depending on experience & qualification)
