VINCI Building are currently looking to recruit a Construction Project/Senior Planner with demonstrable experience on mid to large building projects in the UK to support the significant Royal Shrewsbury Hospital project.
A key milestone for the county’s largest investment in hospital services, forming part of the the Hospitals Transformation Programme (HTP), the project will see the construction of a new four storey building, and the remodelling of the existing Emergency Department to provide new emergency care, women’s and children’s and critical care facilities.
With enabling works and site preparations currently underway on site, you’ll join the project planning team to develop and maintain detailed project programmes, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Working closely with our project managers, design & site teams, you’ll monitor progress and mitigate delays.
With experience using planning software (P6, Asta PowerProject or similar) you’ll produce schedules and reports, identify risks, critical paths and opportunities to optimise project delivery while providing regular updates and reporting on project performance to stakeholders.
About you
We’re looking for a Project/Senior Planner with construction planning experience gained with a UK main contractor along with a solid history of working on build tenders and live projects between £5m - £100m+ in value.
You’ll have strong knowledge of NEC & JCT contract conditions.
