We are currently seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Coventry. Your role will be to assist with relevant updates and communications to our customers along with fast, empathetic and efficient resolutions to any issues and customer queries that arise. This is a pivotal role which the business relies upon its impeccable reputation so accuracy, attentiveness and detail is important. Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Reactive and proactive problem solving with the extensive use of telephone and email.
2. Informing customers as to delivery ETA updates.
3. Offering alternative products for items with long lead times.
4. Working with carriers as to delivery queries and helping organise ‘returns’ etc.
5. Dealing with complaints in a controlled and informed manner taking ownership.
6. Customer service excellence.
Minimum Requirements
1. Experience and proven skillset in a Customer Services role.
2. Sympathetic and kind disposition.
3. Ability to remain calm under pressure.
4. Very high standard of literacy in email communications.
5. Excellent telephone manner.
6. Good grasp of IT and systems.
7. Very detailed, accurate and organised character.
Salary and Benefits
1. Salary offered of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience and skillset.
2. Normal working hours: Monday – Friday 08.30 to 17.00 (Some variation to this could be negotiable).
