We are recruiting for a Designer to join Nolte Kitchens. This role would suit a product designer with at least three years’ experience in the home/kitchen design retail market.

This role is based in our Teddington Showroom with occasional work from our Weybridge Showroom. This role reports into the Dual Site Showroom Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Use of internal systems including CRM reporting tools efficiently (training will be provided).
2. Drawing new plans/designs based on customer/client brief.
3. Surveying locations accurately in order to produce suitable designs for furniture to be installed.
4. Supporting the Showroom Manager with ordering processes/liaising with our manufacturing colleagues in Germany and completion of technical drawings for customer/client projects.
5. Lead taking, booking design appointments, and presenting designs to clients/customers.
6. Administration support for showroom lead marketing activities.
7. Engaging with walk-in customers and ensuring our clients/customers receive the highest level of customer service.
8. Deliver on kitchen sales targets and enhance opportunities for further income growth.
9. Answering the phone and dealing with daily inquiries and customer/client inquiries throughout a project.
10. Provide an effective kitchen after-sales service to clients/customers to maintain and enhance business reputation and secure repeat business.
11. Ensuring the showroom is maintained to a high level of cleanliness.
Candidate Requirements
1. At least 3 years’ previous experience with design in a luxury kitchen retail or showroom environment. Other comparable home design experience may be considered.
2. Good customer service and sales experience with some evidence of sales achieved in previous roles.
3. Knowledge of design using CAD software. Training on our product design system (Winner) will also be provided.
4. Proactive with a desire to learn and develop in the role.
5. Strong attention to detail.
6. Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks.
7. Good communication and presentation skills and IT literate.
8. Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
9. Personable, friendly, and confident with a can-do attitude.
10. Driving Licence (preferred).

Working Arrangements
1. Full time.
2. 5 days a week to include some Saturdays (flexible day off in lieu during the week). Work pattern to be agreed.
3. The role is based at Teddington but the successful candidate will also be required to work from our Weybridge Showroom to meet operational needs as required (on-site in person).
4. Some occasional lone working in the Showroom.
5. Driving licence (required).
