Kedrion Biopharma is recruiting an Engineering Planner to enhance maintenance operations by coordinating job planning, parts procurement, and resource allocation.
Based in Elstree, Herts, this role focuses on maintaining a secure operational environment and overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, tools, equipment, and utility systems. Working closely with Maintenance Management, the Planner coordinates maintenance schedules and procedures for the Engineering team to enhance production efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities will include –
* Responsible for all aspects of project planning, programming and progress monitoring, including information flow, procurement, and site works.
* Support the engineering team in developing the preventative maintenance system within your key specialist area, focussing on improving equipment uptime.
* Liaising with department managers to plan engineering activities and shutdowns
* Create and Implement Work Order Management processes which consist of highly developed job planning packs and staged parts.
* Allocate tasks and resources and develop personnel using the company CMMS.
* Arrange access with customers when required and reschedule work orders to suit.
* Monitor PPM workloads and ensure they are completed on a priority basis.
* Maintain evolving preventative maintenance documentation based on crew feedback, OEM documentation and historical trends.
* Assist in the management of change in regard to impact on programmes and progress.
* Working with the Engineering Stores to create BOM lists for critical equipment spares in addition to tracking and monitoring machinery performance.
Skills & experience to help you within the role –
* Expert knowledge of one or more Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project.
* Ability to identify and define problems through data collection and draw logical conclusions
* Strong knowledge of Work Order Management Processes and the concepts of Planning and Scheduling.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, as well as industrial maintenance and electrical concepts.
* Qualifications / Experience gained in an engineering Planning background
* Excellent Communicator, with the ability to present.
