Ensuring the smooth supply of parts, FF&E and loan equipment to maintenance teams that meet contractual response times. Responsible for the management of controlled substances hazardous to health (COSHH) including the production of correct and in date supporting documentation. Issue and receipt all loan tools and equipment to DEL on request ensuring they have received the appropriate training and are authorised to do so. Ensure all accidents, incidents & near misses are reported to the helpdesk whilst ensuring that line management are aware. What We’re Looking For: Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English, with a good level of literacy, IT skills and Microsoft Office packages, ECDL (or equivalent). Experience: Previous supervisory experience in a similar position, including proven ability to work to targets and deadlines. A good understanding of inventory, warehousing and stock procurement procedures. Experience in customer service, along with working within PFI environment in a MoD or Military setting is desirable. Advanced knowledge of IFS would be advantageous. Skills: Good interpersonal, communication, (both written and verbal) negotiation, organisational, administrative and presentation skills. While the ability to motivate and lead a team whilst also working independently. Ability to undertake tasks that involve manual handling when required.
