Puro Associates is excited to partner with a leading accountancy practice based in Derby, renowned for its exceptional client service and commitment to professional growth. Their dynamic and growing team is looking for a talented Audit Semi-Senior to join them in delivering outstanding financial solutions to their diverse client base.
Responsibilities:
* Participate in planning and conducting audit assignments as an Audit Semi-Senior
* Perform detailed testing of audit areas and identify areas for improvement
* Prepare audit files, financial statements, and management reports as part of the Audit Semi-Senior role
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of audits
* Develop and maintain effective client relationships in the Audit Semi-Senior capacity
* Stay up to date with relevant accounting and auditing standards
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes and procedures as an Audit Semi-Senior
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years of audit experience within an accountancy practice
* Working towards ACA/ACCA qualification
* Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
* Proficient in using audit software and MS Office applications
