Job title - Finance Director (PT) Responsible to -Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Salary -£50,567 - £53,727 pro rata, per annum Working week -14 Hours per week Job Purpose The Finance Director will oversee all financial aspects of the charity, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organization. This role involves strategic planning, financial management, and reporting to support the charity's purpose. General The key responsibilities above give a broad outline of the functions of the post. Person Specification Essential Qualifications and Experience: Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Significant experience in a senior financial management role Experience of budget and financial management at a senior level, including production of financial Board level reports. Skills and Abilities Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Excellent analytical, strategic and planning, skills. Ability to work collaboratively with senior management and trustees Ability to identify and resolve financial issues, develop solutions, and implement changes. Proficiency in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial applications. Ability to lead and motivate a team and provide financial leadership to the organisation.
