Role Overview This is an exciting opportunity for a Director to join a market-leading Operational Living Valuation Team in London, providing expert valuation and advisory services across a variety of asset classes. The role involves executing complex valuations, driving business development, and maintaining strong client relationships while overseeing and mentoring junior team members. About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality valuations for loan security, financial reporting, investment, and strategic advisory purposes. You will lead valuations across a diverse range of assets, including: Build to Rent (BTR) Single Family Housing (SFH) Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) Co-Living Spaces The role also involves contributing to business growth, supporting with pitches and RFPs, and maintaining client relationships, ensuring tailored and insightful solutions throughout the valuation process. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the delivery of valuations across a range of asset types, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing consistent, high-quality advice. Identify and pursue business development opportunities, contributing to the growth of the team and firm. Supervise and review valuation work from junior team members, ensuring quality and consistency. Conduct property inspections and oversee the valuation modelling process, including DCF and sensitivity analysis. Collaborate with internal teams and other business lines to deliver seamless client service. Support strategic team management and contribute to team growth through mentorship, performance reviews, and professional development. Ensure compliance with Quality Risk Management (QRM) policies, sign off conflict checks, and oversee Client IQ records. Skills & Experience Required MRICS Qualified – Minimum 6 years post-qualification experience. Strong experience in client account management and business development. Advanced knowledge of valuation tools such as Argus Enterprise, Argus Developer, and Excel. In-depth understanding of market trends and factors influencing property values. Excellent communication and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail. Proven experience in managing and developing teams, with strong leadership capabilities.
