Credit Controller:
Credit Management:
1. Assessing the creditworthiness of potential and existing customers.
2. Setting and managing credit limits.
3. Preparing and reviewing credit applications.
Debt Collection:
1. Chasing overdue invoices by phone, email, and letter.
2. Liaising with customers to ensure timely payments.
3. Negotiating payment plans where necessary.
4. Escalating collection issues to senior management as needed.
Account Reconciliation:
1. Regularly reconciling customer accounts.
2. Investigating and resolving discrepancies related to payment or invoice disputes.
3. Allocating incoming payments to customer accounts accurately.
Profile
The successful credit controller will have:
* Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role.
* Strong understanding of credit management principles and practices.
* Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
