To program using Mazatrol and manufacture components to drawings, procedures, and programmes as instructed by the Manager/Supervisor within the times set out on route cards and to maintain high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately and efficiently manufacture equipment and parts.
* Take a pro-active role to improve delivery performance, e.g., new methods, tooling etc.
* Understand and interpret technical plans and drawings.
* Record time accurately onto Mercury System via capture gun, and sign off route card to indicate operation completion.
* Care and maintenance of machine, ensuring machine is cleaned down at the end of each shift and oil levels are correct.
* Identify faults with machine and report to Supervisor/Manager.
* Advise of any faults in quality or efficiency immediately and investigate to resolve with the assistance of the Supervisor/Manager.
* Record all machined components using data capture gun.
* Ability to work on own and as part of a team.
Qualifications/Experience:
* Engineering Apprenticeship i.e., time served turner/miller, or relevant experience gained within a manufacturing environment.
* 3 years Mazak Integrex programming/operating experience.
