Job Overview – Customer Service Representative (Temporary):
Join our client as a Customer Service Representative in Boston, MA, where you will deliver exceptional service experiences to independent agents and policyholders. In this temporary, in-office role, you will handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and support policy-related processes, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Compensation: $20/hour
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)
Responsibilities as the Customer Service Representative:
1. Customer Support: Provide high-quality service to policyholders and agents via phone and email, ensuring prompt and professional assistance.
2. Issue Resolution: Research customer concerns, take ownership of resolutions, and escalate issues to management as needed.
3. Policy Processing: Accurately process policy endorsements in alignment with company procedures and service standards.
4. Agent Training: Assist independent agents by providing training on company products, services, and system usage.
5. Operational Efficiency: Complete assigned project work with accuracy and within required timelines.
Qualifications for the Customer Service Representative:
1. Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required.
2. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of customer service or related work experience.
3. Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.
5. Industry Knowledge: Experience with Personal Lines Auto (MA, NH, and CT) policies is preferred.
