The Role: As an HR Assistant, youll play a key role in keeping day-to-day HR operations running smoothly. From recruitment support to onboarding and employee records, youll get a broad range of experience while working closely with experienced HR professionals. Responsibilities: Supporting the recruitment process: advertising roles, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates Assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding Maintaining and updating employee records and HR systems Helping coordinate training and development activities Assisting with payroll and benefits administration Responding to general HR queries from employees and managers Supporting employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives What We're Looking For: 612 months experience in a HR or administrative role (internships welcome) A genuine interest in pursuing a career in HR Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Comfortable working with MS Office and HR systems CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards it (preferred but not essential) What Youll Get: £24,000 - £28,000 salary depending on experience Full support for professional development (including CIPD training) Clear career progression within the HR team Friendly, inclusive team culture Central Birmingham office with great transport links Regular social events and wellbeing support
