LOCATION: BANKHEAD CENTRAL OFFICE
We are looking for confident and organised individuals to join the Public Health Department based in Bankhead Central Office in Glenrothes for a fixed period of 12 months.

If you do not have approval for a secondment from your current line manager, you will not be able to progress your application for a fixed term post. External applicants, with continuous NHS Service, must also have in place a secondment agreement, from their existing board to apply for this post.
You will provide professional administrative assistance to Consultants within the Public Health Department. Skills and competencies associated with previous experience to a high level within a secretarial post are essential. You will also provide a comprehensive administrative service at designated local, Fife wide, regional & national meetings which will include minute taking.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to use your own initiative and work as part of a wider team are essential. The aptitude to work to strict deadlines, under pressure with minimal supervision is also required.
You should be educated to HND level or have equivalent experience. Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages is essential. Experience gained in a health care setting would be advantageous.
The post will incorporate agile working, with the expectation that you will attend the office environment a minimum of 2.5 days per week.
