Complex Needs Learning Support
Pay - £12.90 per hour or £83.85 per day

We are working with a local specialist school to provide learning support for pupils who have additional needs. The school supports pupils from 3-19 years old, and the needs of the pupils are mixed. Any prior experience working with additional needs will help candidates get off to a strong start and enable you to hit the ground running.
The classrooms are decided by the needs of pupils, so it is essential that you are comfortable working across the board to support pupils regardless of their age and needs. The perfect candidate will be charismatic and have a genuine passion for child development and supporting pupils.
Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant are:
* Ensuring pupils are engaged and comfortable during lessons
* Assist in personal care tasks as needed (e.g., toileting and feeding)
* Plan and implement appropriate techniques to deal with challenging behaviour in pupils where appropriate
* Participate in relevant training and courses as required
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Enhanced DBS (We can help you facilitate this)
* Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) (We can help you facilitate this)
* Relevant experience, either personal or professional, in the SEN sector
