Your role is all about delivering amazing service for our customers, completing your work to an excellent standard and really

As a Plasterer, a typical day might include:
* Undertaking all types of plastering walls and ceilings, basic tiling and decorating, Brickwork, concreting, roof repairs and
general Ground works.Damp / Mould works
* You’ll do work including both emergency and scheduled responsive repairs as well as more extensive renovation works to
properties.
* Working closely with tenants and your line manager concerning the timing and progress of work being undertaken.
* Carrying out localised risk assessments as your work requires.
* Following the Code of Conduct for the repairs and maintenance
* Providing (and being proud of) a high-quality service to customers.
* Maintaining a full tool kit to enable all reasonable duties to be undertaken as the post dictates.
* Using ladders, step ladders, scaffolding and hydraulic platforms where needed.
* Lifting of materials and component part, tool kits, ladders and power tools
What we need to see on your application:
* You’ll have an NVQ Level 2 in a specific trade (such as painting and decorating or plastering) or equivalent skills with the
ability to undertake other work
* You’ll have several years’ experience of repairs and maintenance work within both empty and tenanted properties
* A good understanding of the construction industry in particular the building trade including surrounding legislation
* A good knowledge of social housing
* Experience of working within social housing
* You’ll have the ability to plan ahead to ensure that all jobs can be completed on time, first time.
* Basic IT skills and experienced user of Microsoft applications, using mobile a devices to find data and documentation and to
record information Resilience. Working in social housing is a challenging but rewarding career, you’ll be helping to bring real
