Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, in our Leeds office. Our anchor days for this role is Monday and Tuesday, so you’ll be expected to come into the office for those days.
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY An exciting opportunity has arisen for our Economic Crime Prevention (ECP) Platform, our mission is to reduce harm to our communities by enhancing the Group's capability to prevent, detect and respond to economic crime. The Platform sits within Consumer Relationships and plays a critical role in providing services across the whole Group.
In this role you’ll: lead our Business Insights and Analytics colleagues in the Economic Crime Prevention Platform to support the fight against Economic Crime
perform and guide analysis to measure the potential benefits of new tools which aim to prevent fraud Economic Crime
develop innovative solutions which support the monitoring of our Economic Crime Prevention Controls through reporting and dashboards and use these to help prioritise improvements in loss prevention and customer experience.
support LBG Customers having better protection from fraud, lower inconvenience from false positives, and better reporting to regulators and crime agencies.
support the development of junior members of the team and help them to improve their analytical and coding skills
work with collaborators across the group to identify requirements and opportunities to enhance our Economic Crime Prevention controls that help Britain, rather than fraudsters, prosper.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED We’re looking to recruit a Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager to deliver influential insight through leading a small team of analytical professionals to assess the threat and mitigation of Fraud and Financial Crime.
We believe that people don't always fit neatly into roles, and we value everyone's individual skills, experience, and knowledge — it's what makes you unique! However, as a minimum, you’ll be able to demonstrate experience in the below skills:
Data Analysis & Data visualisation tools Experience of applying Data Analytics techniques within a commercial/industrial context
Use of PowerBi, Github, Big Query on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Python and SQL Programming Experience of SQL or BigQuery in real world business application
Experience of Python for data analysis and manipulation
Leadership, Communication & Presentation Leadership skills, using emotional intelligence, clarity and challenge to support your team to be their best
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues across the business
Clear and effective communication to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences
In addition to the above, the below skills would also be desirable: Knowledge of Economic Crime Prevention, including an understanding of Fraud Modus Operandi or Financial Crime regulations
Exposure to Google Cloud Platform
Experience of using Tableau to present data
