Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Spanish lessons to students across various age groups and abilities. Assess and evaluate student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments. Provide constructive feedback and support to students, helping them to improve their language proficiency and confidence. Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and a passion for learning languages. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, participate in professional development, and contribute to the overall success of the school. Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, such as language clubs, cultural events, and exchange programs, to enrich the students’ educational experience. Maintain open and effective communication with parents, guardians, and the wider school community. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Spanish, Spanish Literature, or a related field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Proven experience teaching Spanish at secondary school level is preferred. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
