Desk Based Account Manager - Ammanford - LBS Builders Merchants Limited
We are seeking a diligent Desk Based Account Manager to join our team in our Head Office. This role is focused on proactive outgoing calls to customers, both new and existing.
Key Responsibilities
* Determine customer needs through 'real-time' feedback to adapt quickly to changing customer and market requirements.
* Support our branches and specialist divisions by contacting lapsed/dormant or new customers to promote the full LBS group offer.
* Analyse internal and external ledger setups and provide assistance to internal and external colleagues.
* Monitor project progress.
Your Key Activities
* Drive new business initiatives with a wide range of customers across multiple brands.
* Maintain effective time management skills to achieve objectives through consistent planning.
* Develop relationships with lapsed/dormant/new customers.
* Ensure all customers are fully aware of the LBS group offer, highlighting our 'one-stop shop' benefits to all customers.
* Conduct welcome calls to New Accounts to understand their needs and assess ongoing requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of customer contacts and data using a CRM system to maximise opportunities.
* Utilise Barbour software to locate potential projects/subcontractors for LBS Account Managers and branches, logging data for regular follow-up and quote/order success.
Our Requirements
* Prior experience in making successful targeted outbound sales calls to warm and cold customers.
* Follow up leads/projects and ensure they are logged and followed through to completion with internal stakeholders.
* Ability to handle and overcome objections.
* Flexibility in adapting to changing business priorities.
* Effective management and development of key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to diverse individuals.
* Ability to work independently.
* Attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Good knowledge of Excel.
