This post offers an exciting opportunity for a Registered General Nurse to join our well established and innovative Urology Nursing Team in the Urology Diagnostic Centre at the new Heatherwood Hospital.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who, as a valued member of the team, will be forward thinking, ideally having a background in urological nursing.
The post holder will provide expert nursing advice and support for patients and their carers supporting the Urology Medical and Nursing team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential as is a flexible attitude and approach.
Main duties of the job
* To be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care with minimal supervision.
* To implement and be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care.
* To carry out all administrative and nursing duties as delegated by the team leader and senior sister.
