About the Company:
This leading, locally based Contractor operates within public and private sectors constructing some of the region’s most innovative and landmark buildings. They are looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of an experienced Bid Manager.
The Job:
In this important, varied and challenging role, you will be responsible for producing accurate, specific and professional responses for construction-related pre-qualification, framework, and tender submissions. You will liaise and interact with clients, pre-construction, and project teams, researching and understanding the nature of the contracts and projects the company is involved with to continuously improve bid submissions, presentations, and client interviews. This role requires working to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy, innovation, and creative input.
The Person:
Applications are sought from highly motivated individuals with a proven track record in a tender writing and bid coordinating/management role. Ideally, candidates should have some knowledge or understanding of the construction industry, although this is not essential. You should be highly organized, IT literate, and competent with a range of software knowledge such as Indesign or Canva. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, with the ability to produce creative, informative, and well-presented pre-qualifications, tender, and framework submissions.
