Within this role, you will be supporting Social Care staff within The Emergency Duty Team outside of office core hours. We work with colleagues and multi-agency professionals at all levels across the service to contribute to positive outcomes for some of the most vulnerable Children and Families, working together across Warwickshire. Warwickshire put children at the heart of everything we do. We work with children and families restoratively, building strong relationships and connections to help families fine long last solutions.
The Emergency Duty Team working hours are for night owls, working evenings, weekends and bank holidays and it certainly offers more than just a change of hours. Each EDT shift is a new day and comes with new challenges each time and has a wide range of task variety.
Business Support contributes to the efficient running of the team and the achievement of the County Council vision to make Warwickshire the best it can be, sustainable now and for future generations.
You will work in a team to provide effective, flexible and responsive Business Support to one of the Council’s Services, with the ability to support other teams as and when required. It is a fast paced, energetic and exciting area to work in, where you will be part of a close team.
You will be joining a cohesive team of enthusiastic, motivated, and supportive Social Workers and Family Support Workers of mixed levels of experience. Equally, we have a strong and experienced management group who work hard to promote a consistently good standard of Social Work practice using a restorative approach, which is then reflected in the way we support our families also.

Key Requirements
You will work proactively, looking for new ways of working, contributing to the outcomes of the services that you are supporting as well as the outcomes of the Business Support Service.
We are looking for someone who has good organisational skills, is able to problem solve and use their own initiative, a great attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
