Job title: Temp Duty Manager - Luxury Hotel - ReadingLocation: ReadingContract: tempSalary: £13,25 to 15,25The role: Your knowledge will inspire your team and delight guests. Running a unique restaurant within a Themed Hotel. Your role is essential to the food and beverage department and your team.
This is not just a job for you, as you are doing what you love surrounded by a team of people who feel the same.Key information:Working 3 days a week mostly evening shift from PM to AMLeading a team of assistant managers, supervisors, senior waiting staff and Junior waiting staffKey responsibilities include:Motivate and develop your team to achieve highest levels of service excellence and positive staff relationsMaintaining a high profile with customers and staff in the restaurant throughout the hotelCommunicating the detail of the menu and celebrating the ethos to all guestsEnsure a smooth, efficient and high service focused operationControl and project strong and seamless interdepartmental co-ordination with all other F&B outlets, their managers, and staffTo manage and oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, with support of a talented team of supervisors and assistantsAchieve high standards of cleanliness and Health & Safety regulations both back and front of houseWork closely with the F&B ManagerSkills & experience required:Must have similar experienceAbility to lead and motivate a teamA clear communicatorExcellent customer service skills and outstanding people skills; confident interacting with guests and team simultaneouslyStrong organisational and multi-tasking skillsActive listening and effective communication skillsProactive approach to tasks and dutiesGreat attention to detailA positive, can-do attitudeIf you have the relevant experience and believe this role is right for you, please apply.
