We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Rotherham site.
This role pays £25,000-£30,000 doe with a further list of benefits.
Position
* Produce thermal process designs in accordance with customer specification and industry standards.
* Produce mechanical designs, including any beneficial alternatives, P&IDs, equipment sizing and subcontract equipment specifications in accordance with industry standard specifications such as ASME and PD5500.
* Ensure designs being produced are developed and correct and can be produced in a mechanically sound manner.
* To ensure that all work under their control is completed to agreed scheduled target dates.
* Fully ascertain, understand and address all customer requirements. Liase with customers to question, clarify or development their requirements.
* Provide technical support to sales engineers as required for meeting, development and proposals
* Identify training and learning opportunities to manager
Requirements
* Degree in related Chemical or Mechanical engineering discipline
* Degree modules in thermal and mechanical
* First rate communication and organisation skills
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload
* Proactive, flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude’
* Strong team player
* IT literate with specific experience using Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint programs.
