The Scottish Event Campus (SEC) is one of the UK's leading event venues, hosting a variety of events from international conferences to concerts, exhibitions, and more.
The role of Operations Manager within Clydebuilt at the SEC is to oversee and coordinate all aspects of Clydebuilt Bar and Kitchens operation to ensure smooth functioning, excellent customer service, profitability, and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
1. Operations: Oversee daily operations, cleanliness, and maintenance.
2. Customer Service: Create a welcoming atmosphere and maintain service standards.
3. People Management: Foster team engagement and communication, conduct performance reviews.
4. Financial Management: Develop budgets and monitor financial performance.
5. Health & Safety: Maintain a safe working environment and comply with regulations.
6. Menu & Quality Control: Collaborate on menu development and ensure food quality.
7. Marketing: Execute marketing strategies and promotions.
8. Relationship Management: Build supplier and partner relationships.
About You:
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred. Food Safety Certification and Personal License required.
Experience: 2+ years in bar/restaurant management with proven staff leadership and budgeting skills.
