Weston College is the regional provider for the Prison Education Framework (PEF) across the South West of England and is now seeking to recruit an outstanding and highly Lecturer in Personal & Social Development at HMP Channings Wood. This is a permanent part-time role, working 29.6 hours per week. Day to day duties of the role Deliver a high-quality curriculum delivering Personal and Social Development courses or an alternative as led by the Weston College management team. Organisational and administrative work. Preparation, assessment and marking. Developing and maintaining a full course file including comprehensive scheme of learning and lesson planning. Required skills and qualifications A degree of professional qualification which is appropriate to the work. Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies. Excellent team working, communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent computer literacy skills including an up to date knowledge of Microsoft Office.
