HE Health Curriculum Leader
Salary: £47,899 per annum
The ideal candidate will have a strong vocational background within the Health or Social Care sector with proven experience in leading and managing teams. They will hold an honours degree (Level 6) or an industry-recognised qualification in Health or Social Care or a related field, alongside a post-16 teaching qualification or a commitment to achieving this within an agreed timeframe. Level 2 English and maths qualifications are essential, or the candidate must be willing to attain them. A proven track record of leading and managing teams to achieve KPI’s with an emphasis on high quality higher education provision.
Experience in successful programme leadership within higher education, is desirable, as is familiarity with current industry practices. Candidates should also have proven success in designing and implementing teaching strategies that support higher education students, including those with additional needs or barriers to learning. Strong organisational skills, the ability to self-manage workload, and excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in IT, including the use of virtual learning environments. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to meet curriculum demands is also required.
