Workforce Planning and Resourcing Advisor
On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for a Workforce Planning and Resourcing Advisor (Inside IR35) for a 9 Month contract based in Bristol, 1-2 days a week ideally Thursday as the whole team is in.

The Submarine Delivery Agency (SDA) team is looking for someone to help set up the new internal recruitment service.
The Resourcing Workforce Planning Advisor will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective workforce planning strategies to ensure the organisation has the right people in the right roles at the right time. This position will involve analysing workforce data, forecasting future staffing needs, and collaborating with various departments to align resourcing strategies with business objectives.
As a Workforce Planning and Resourcing Advisor, your main responsibilities will be:
1. Work closely with the recruitment team to provide insights on talent acquisition strategies, including sourcing, selection, and onboarding processes.
2. Writing job adverts and preparing interview packs for the recruitment panel and interviewees.
3. Supporting on updating process maps in Microsoft Visio.
4. Raise jobs on The Olieeo recruitment system ensuring there is a high level of accuracy.
5. Analyse current workforce data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
6. Utilise workforce analytics tools to inform strategic decisions.
7. Develop and maintain workforce planning models to forecast future staffing needs based on business growth, turnover rates, and industry trends.
8. Partner with department heads and HR teams to understand departmental staffing needs and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
9. Contribute to the development of long-term resourcing strategies that support business objectives and enhance workforce capability.
10. Prepare and present workforce planning reports and recommendations to senior management, highlighting key metrics and strategic insights.
11. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in workforce planning and resourcing, recommending improvements to current processes.
12. Ensure all workforce planning activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Essential:
1. Active SC clearance.
2. Experience of recruiting.
3. Working in a fast-paced environment/department.
4. Strong analytical skills with experience in workforce analytics and reporting tools.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
6. Proficiency in HRIS and data management systems.
7. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable:
1. CIPD level 4 or 5.
2. Experience using Microsoft Visio.
