This role is an opportunity for someone to undertake an 18-month apprenticeship programme, where you will be working towards a Level 3 in Business Administration. This will consist of Full-time work placement plus attendance on study sessions/days in line with your apprenticeship training programme. Responsibilities Detailed job description and main responsibilities Support the Clinical Research Delivery Team in the set up and running of research studies, including maintaining site files, archiving, uploading recruitment details and participant data to internal systems Implement standard operating procedures for the team and propose changes to operational practices to demonstrate improvements in services. Provide operational support to colleagues, as directed by Line Manager. General administrative duties including filing, photocopying, diary management and distribution of deliveries. Ensure appropriate electronic systems are kept up to date; ensuring that information entered onto the system is in line with the Trust’s data quality standards. Ensure good customer service by providing a professional and effective telephone service, taking accurate messages and providing information and signposting as requested and appropriate. Provide cross-cover for other staff across the hospital to ensure a consistent and effective service is always maintained. Experience/Skills Needed Good standard of secondary education with literacy and numeracy skills demonstrable to GSCE pass level 4 or above or equivalent standard. Basic skills in Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word Ability to work under pressure. Excellent verbal and telephone / communication skills.
