As the sole HR Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting both employees and managers across a broad range of HR functions. This role will be covering a multi-site and circa of 150 employees, covering performance management to supporting policy development and staff wellbeing, this is a hands-on, stand alone role where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert advice and support on employee relations issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management.
2. Support managers with performance management and coaching conversations.
3. Assist with policy development and implementation.
4. Contribute to HR projects focused on employee engagement, wellbeing, and organisational development.
5. Maintain up-to-date HR records and ensure compliance with employment law and internal policies.
6. Collaborate with leaders to develop clear, consistent, and engaging job descriptions that support recruitment and internal progression.
7. Act as a trusted advisor to line managers, coaching them through people processes and building their confidence in handling day-to-day HR matters.
