Job Description:
Principal Accountabilities:
Support in the growth of the business in the assigned territories and will strive to achieve the sales budget within the defined area and/or to specifically defined sales accounts. (Includes revenue, volume and margin).
Travel with in the designated area attending customers sites as needed and driving business opportunities.
Support in market research and sales initiatives.
Manage key accounts with varying values from 100K to multi Million projects.
Provide proposals and communicate price changes to customers.
Recommend pricing tactics and how to successfully implement the decision to the European Sales Manager.
Recommend the appropriate service levels for individual customers and ensures that these levels are maintained – visit frequency etc.
Work is planned and prioritized in line with the budget and customer requirements.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
Technical sales experience with polymers, compounding and other associated technical materials.
Degree educated in a relevant materials principle, chemistry, materials science, polymer science.
The ability to work either independently and/or as a member of a team.
To be willing and able to travel within a designated geographical area including Europe.
To be able to competently work with a computer and with the Microsoft Office Applications.
