This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team here in Nottinghamshire. We are at a pivotal time and you will be working alongside colleagues within the Property Service who have been instrumental in the delivery of unprecedented levels of development, rationalisation of the Councils Operational Property Estate alongside the implementation of Corporate Landlord.
In this role, you will act as one of the Council’s senior practising property professionals supporting the Head of Property & Estates. You will be responsible for commissioning the workstream of the Estates Practice which is a multi-functional estates and commercial surveying team, recently transferred to the ARC Partnership, a joint venture between Nottinghamshire County Council and public sector procurement specialist, SCAPE.
The role, whilst acting as an intelligent client in the commissioning of the Estates Service, will also provide professional advice to the Council as a whole. You will have oversight of the work delivered by the ARC Partnership including performance management across a full range of transactional activity.
Working closely with the Property Strategy & Information Manager, you will be supported by the in-house Estates Practice technical team to pro-actively support delivery of the Council's Corporate Property Strategy, Property Asset Management Plan and Service Asset Management Plans.
